Tourism Ireland have just launched their Market Plan for 2010 which aims to restore overseas tourism to growth. They acknowledge that international experts have forcast a decline of -2% in visitors to Ireland next year, however they plan to buckle that trend and in fact are aiming to increase tourism to Ireland by +3%
Great Britain, Germany and the United States will be the major areas of investment for the tourism body and they are focusing on the "Value Message" when selling Ireland abroad.
